MUSCAT, Tuesday, December 23, 2025 (WNP): His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman on Tuesday received Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Al Barakah Palace, underscoring the close and brotherly ties between the two neighbouring countries.

In a separate meeting, His Majesty also received Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax, Tanzania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, during which the Sultan was presented with a written message from the President of the United Republic of Tanzania.

According to official sources, discussions during both meetings focused on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding avenues of mutual cooperation, and exchanging views on key regional and international developments of shared interest.

The high-level engagements reflected Oman’s active diplomatic outreach and its commitment to fostering constructive partnerships with countries across the Middle East and Africa, while promoting dialogue, stability and cooperation at regional and global levels.
