Dar meets senior diplomats from Turkiye, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, calls for four-country cooperation framework

ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday met senior diplomats from Turkiye, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, underscoring the need for enhanced cooperation among the four countries.

During the meeting, Dar held talks with Turkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklikaya, Egypt’s Assistant Foreign Minister Nazih El Naggari, and Saudi Arabia’s senior official Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud Al-Kabeer AlSaud.

 

The Deputy Prime Minister appreciated the close and brotherly relations among the four countries, highlighting the convergence of views on key regional and global issues.

He emphasized the importance of devising a cooperative framework among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt, focusing on shared goals of peace, prosperity, and economic development.

The senior diplomats are currently in Pakistan to participate in the inaugural Senior Officials’ Meeting of the four countries, held in Islamabad, aimed at strengthening coordination and exploring avenues for deeper collaboration.
