ISLAMABAD, Monday, January 12, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday held a telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, during which the two leaders exchanged views on the latest developments in Iran and the broader regional context.
According to an official account, Senator Dar underscored the importance of sustained dialogue, constructive engagement, and close coordination between Islamabad and Tehran on issues of mutual interest. The conversation reflected the commitment of both countries to maintaining open channels of communication amid evolving regional dynamics.
The two foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact and to continue consultations through diplomatic channels, reaffirming their shared resolve to further strengthen bilateral ties and promote regional stability.
