President Zardari accorded ceremonial welcome at Rukh Ordo Cultural Complex by Kyrgyz President

CHOLPON-ATA, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (WNP): President Asif Ali Zardari was accorded a ceremonial welcome by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov at the Rukh Ordo Cultural Complex in Cholpon-Ata on Tuesday, underscoring the close friendship and growing partnership between Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

President Japarov received President Zardari upon his arrival at the iconic cultural complex, where a formal reception was held in honour of the Pakistani Head of State as part of his official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthems of Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, reflecting the mutual respect and longstanding brotherly ties between the two nations.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces presented a ceremonial guard of honour to President Zardari. The President reviewed the guard, acknowledging the military honours accorded to him during the official reception.

Following the ceremonial proceedings, President Zardari and President Japarov introduced members of their respective delegations, reaffirming their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, cultural and regional spheres.

The formal reception at the Rukh Ordo Cultural Complex formed an important part of President Zardari’s official engagements in the Kyrgyz Republic, highlighting the enduring friendship between the two countries and their resolve to deepen collaboration in trade, investment, connectivity, tourism, education, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
