WASHINGTON, Monday, April 27, 2026 (WNP): Their Majesties the King Charles and Queen Camilla spent the evening with distinguished individuals contributing to the strong and enduring relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States.

The event was hosted at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, D.C., bringing together figures from public service, culture, business, and diplomacy to celebrate close UK-US ties and ongoing cooperation across a range of sectors.

The reception marked a historic moment as the first royal event ever held at the residence. It also echoed a previous Garden Party hosted at the same venue during the 1939 State Visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
