Reaffirms Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Türkiye, expresses confidence in strengthening bilateral cooperation for regional and global peace

ISLAMABAD, Thursday, October 29, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday extended heartfelt felicitations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the government and the brotherly people of Türkiye on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.

In his message, the prime minister said Türkiye’s proud history, rich heritage and remarkable journey as a republic reflected the resilience, courage and indomitable spirit of its people.

He said Pakistan and Türkiye shared an exceptional bond of brotherhood rooted in common history, mutual trust and unwavering solidarity.

The prime minister observed that the enduring friendship between the two countries continued to expand in scope and substance, transcending borders and generations and drawing strength from shared values and common aspirations.

As Pakistan joined the people of Türkiye in celebrating the historic occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the two brotherly nations would continue to work together to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.

He concluded by expressing the hope that the eternal Pakistan–Türkiye brotherhood would continue to grow from strength to strength.
