RAWALPINDI, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 (WNP): The Pakistan Army on Tuesday conducted a successful training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II Missile System, equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids.
According to official sources, the training launch was aimed at enhancing troop preparedness, validating key technical parameters, and evaluating the performance of various sub-systems designed to improve accuracy and survivability.
The launch was witnessed by senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command, and Pakistan Army, along with scientists and engineers from strategic organizations. The participants commended the successful training fire of the missile, describing it as a significant milestone in strengthening indigenous defence capabilities.
The leadership, including President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief of Defence Forces, and Services Chiefs, appreciated the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment of all personnel involved in the successful launch.
The Fateh series of missiles represents Pakistan’s continued efforts to enhance its defence preparedness through indigenous technological advancement.
