ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 (WNP): Members of the visiting Saudi Parliamentary delegation on Tuesday toured the National Assembly Hall, where they were briefed on Pakistan’s parliamentary procedures and legislative processes.

Adviser on Legislation and Parliamentary Proceedings Muhammad Mushtaq provided the delegation with an overview of the structure, functions, and working mechanisms of the National Assembly Secretariat, highlighting its role in promoting democratic governance and legislative efficiency

The delegation expressed appreciation for the comprehensive briefing and lauded the National Assembly’s efforts in strengthening transparency, democratic values, and institutional effectiveness.

They noted that the visit offered valuable insights into Pakistan’s parliamentary practices and would contribute to enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
