DOHA, Thursday, April 16, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a warm and distinguished welcome during his visit to Qatar, as fighter jets of the Qatari Air Force escorted his aircraft upon entering Qatari airspace.

According to official sources, the fighter jets formed a protective cordon around the Prime Minister’s aircraft and accompanied it all the way to Hamad International Airport, reflecting the close and friendly relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Qatari leadership and the pilots for the warm and gracious gesture extended to him and his delegation.
