ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake official visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye from April 15 to 18, 2026, as part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with key regional partners.
According to an official statement, the visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar will take place in a bilateral context, where the prime minister will meet the leadership of both countries to discuss cooperation as well as regional peace and security.
During his visit to Türkiye, the prime minister will participate in the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is scheduled to join the Leaders’ Panel alongside other global leaders to present Pakistan’s perspective on key international issues.
On the sidelines of the forum, he is also expected to hold bilateral meetings, including with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other world leaders.
The statement noted that Pakistan’s participation in the forum reflects its continued commitment to constructive diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and meaningful engagement with the international community on global challenges.
The prime minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, along with other senior officials.
