ISLAMABAD, Friday, December 26, 2025 (WNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday highlighted the strength and expanding scope of Pakistan’s partnership with the United Arab Emirates, describing the official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as warm, cordial and forward-looking.
In a message shared on his official X account, the prime minister said it was a pleasure to welcome “my dear brother” Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan, noting that the visit added to the festive spirit as both nations approach the New Year.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he held “most cordial and constructive talks” with the UAE president, during which the two leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and global issues, with a shared focus on promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to its ties with the UAE, the prime minister described the relationship as “longstanding, deep-rooted and fraternal,” rooted in mutual trust, respect and shared values. He emphasized that Pakistan-UAE relations continue to grow stronger under the leadership and patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The high-level engagement reflects the close bonds between the two countries and underscores their shared resolve to further strengthen cooperation across political, economic, defence and people-to-people domains.
