ISLAMABAD, Friday, December 26, 2025 (WNP): The Government of Pakistan on Friday released a special welcome song to commemorate the first official visit of President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marking a symbolic and cultural gesture underscoring the warmth of Pakistan-UAE relations.

The song features visuals from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s arrival in Pakistan, his ceremonial reception, and cordial moments shared with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, including a handshake and embrace that reflect the close personal and diplomatic rapport between the two leaders. Scenes of children presenting flowers to the UAE president add an emotive and symbolic dimension to the tribute.

Set around the refrain “Ahlan wa Sahlan, Marhaba” (Welcome), the composition conveys sentiments of hospitality, affection and goodwill, echoing the traditional values of warmth and respect extended by the people of Pakistan to their distinguished guest.

Officials said the initiative highlights the deep-rooted and enduring friendship between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, built on mutual trust, respect and cooperation across political, economic, defence and people-to-people domains. The release also reflects the shared cultural affinity and longstanding bonds that connect the two nations beyond formal diplomacy.

The welcome song coincides with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s high-level visit, which aims to further strengthen bilateral relations, deepen strategic cooperation and explore new avenues of collaboration in key areas of mutual interest, reinforcing the brotherly ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
