ANTALYA, Saturday, April 18, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday departed from Antalya for Pakistan after completing his three-nation tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye.
At the airport, the Prime Minister and his delegation were seen off by senior Turkish and Pakistani officials, including Ambassador Tolga Bermek, Ambassador Nilufer Kaygisiz, Member of the Turkish Parliament Burhan Kayaturk, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Yusuf Junaid.
During the three-day visit, the Prime Minister held meetings with the leadership of the three brotherly countries and also engaged with several global leaders on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace, and key regional and global developments.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for Foreign Media Musharraf Zaidi.
The visit marked an important phase in Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach, reinforcing ties with key regional partners and advancing dialogue on peace and cooperation.
