VIENNA, Sunday, February 15, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Vienna on a two-day official visit to Austria at the invitation of Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, signalling a renewed push to deepen bilateral cooperation and expand economic engagement between the two countries.

The visit marks an important step in strengthening Pakistan–Austria relations, with a focus on trade, investment, sustainable development and multilateral collaboration.

During his stay, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Chancellor Stocker, along with delegation-level discussions aimed at broadening cooperation across key sectors.

The two leaders are also expected to engage with prominent business representatives to promote greater private-sector partnerships and explore new investment opportunities, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing economic growth and shared prosperity.
