ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 (WNP): The Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) on Tuesday distributed scholarship cheques among 10 deserving students from various universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a ceremony held at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University.

The ceremony, attended by students, faculty members and officials, was presided over by PDF Chairman Muhammad Bilal Sethi and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Safia Ahmad, who jointly presented the scholarship cheques to the selected students. Director Women Development Center Sobia Kiramat Khan Chagharmatti was also present on the occasion.

The scholarship recipients belonged to leading institutions including University of Peshawar, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, University of Malakand, International Islamic University Islamabad and University of Haripur.

Addressing the ceremony, Muhammad Bilal Sethi said the foundation was committed to empowering youth through education and social welfare initiatives.

He said these efforts will help enabling young individuals to become self-reliant and productive members of society.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Safia Ahmad lauded the initiative of the PDF and expressed gratitude to its leadership for supporting talented students. She congratulated the scholarship recipients and appreciated the foundation’s transparent and merit-based selection process.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment by both institutions to continue collaborative efforts for promoting education and creating opportunities for deserving students across the province.
