ISLAMABAD, Saturday, February 28, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday spoke with the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, to exchange views on the evolving regional situation.
During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed current developments in the broader region and discussed their potential implications for peace and security. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining stability through dialogue, diplomacy and cooperative engagement among regional stakeholders.
Senator Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peaceful solutions and constructive partnerships, while Foreign Minister Saidov underscored Uzbekistan’s support for efforts aimed at ensuring regional harmony and sustainable development.
The two foreign ministers agreed to remain closely engaged and continue consultations in light of fast-changing developments.
