TEHRAN, Monday, April 20, 2026 (WNP): Iran has categorically rejected reports suggesting the transfer of its nuclear stockpiles, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei stating that such a proposal has never been part of any negotiations.

Addressing media, Baqaei made it clear that the exit or transfer of Iran’s enriched uranium “has never been on the negotiation table,” dismissing claims circulating in international discourse.

He reiterated that recent diplomatic engagements have primarily focused on resolving ongoing tensions and ending conflict, rather than addressing issues related to nuclear material transfers.

The spokesman further emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program and its related assets remain a matter of national sovereignty and are governed by the country’s rights under international frameworks.

Iranian officials have consistently maintained that any discussions with international stakeholders are centered on de-escalation, regional stability, and broader political dealings, rather than concessions involving strategic assets.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation, where nuclear-related issues continue to remain a sensitive and important aspect of international negotiations.

Tehran’s firm stance reflects its broader policy of safeguarding national interests while engaging in dialogue on conflict resolution and peace-building initiatives.
