MADINAH, Saturday, January 10, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday visited Madinah Munawwarah during his official tour of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
During his stay in Madinah, the deputy prime minister offered prayers at Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ, seeking peace, stability and prosperity for Pakistan, as well as unity, well-being and harmony for the entire Muslim Ummah.

Officials described the visit as a moment of deep spiritual reflection alongside the high-level diplomatic engagements undertaken by Senator Dar in Saudi Arabia.
The visit to Madinah formed part of the broader schedule of the deputy prime minister’s tour, which included participation in the OIC Extraordinary Session focused on key challenges facing the Muslim world. The combination of diplomatic engagements and spiritual observances, officials noted, reflected Pakistan’s commitment to both international cooperation within the OIC framework and the shared religious and cultural values of the Muslim Ummah.
