ISLAMABAD, Thursday, July 16, 2026 (WNP): Press Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan, Dr. Saif Nasser Almashali, on Thursday visited the office of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), where he met the Centre’s Director, Abdullah Al-Baqami, and received a comprehensive briefing on its humanitarian initiatives and ongoing development projects across Pakistan.
During the visit, Dr. Almashali was apprised of KSrelief’s extensive relief operations, development programmes, and humanitarian assistance for improving the lives of vulnerable communities through sustainable interventions in health, education, food security, emergency relief, and community development.
Speaking after the visit, Dr. Almashali said he was pleased to meet Abdullah Al-Baqami and learn more about the Centre’s humanitarian mission and the wide-ranging projects being implemented in Pakistan under the Kingdom’s humanitarian assistance programme.
He said the initiatives undertaken by KSrelief reflect the depth of the longstanding Saudi-Pakistan partnership, which extends beyond diplomatic relations to meaningful humanitarian cooperation that directly benefits people and communities.

“These efforts demonstrate that the Saudi-Pakistan partnership is defined not only by words, but by the lasting humanitarian and development impact it creates. They are a clear expression of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s enduring commitment to generosity, compassion, and working hand in hand in the service of humanity,” Dr. Almashali said.
He commended KSrelief for its continued dedication to alleviating human suffering and supporting sustainable development through projects that promote resilience and improve the quality of life for those in need.
The visit underscored the Kingdom’s continued commitment to strengthening humanitarian cooperation with Pakistan and reaffirmed the shared resolve of both countries to advance welfare, sustainable development, and humanitarian values through close collaboration.
