Pakistan, Bahrain navies reaffirm commitment to maritime security, defence cooperation

RAWALPINDI, Tuesday, December 23, 2025 (WNP): Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, paid an official visit to Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday, where he called on Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Pakistan Navy.

Upon his arrival, the Bahraini naval chief was warmly received by the CNS. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy presented a Guard of Honour in recognition of the visiting dignitary. Rear Admiral Al Bin Ali also laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada Monument, paying tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Navy.

During the meeting, the two naval leaders held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, the evolving regional maritime security environment, and prospects for enhanced bilateral naval cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening professional engagement, capacity building and defence collaboration between the Pakistan Navy and the Royal Bahrain Naval Force.

The visit highlighted the longstanding and friendly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain and reflected the mutual resolve of both countries to work closely for peace, stability and security in the region’s maritime domain.
