ISLAMABAD, Monday, December 8, 2025 (WNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday delivered an inspiring address at the ceremony marking the 54th National Day of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), also celebrated as Eid Al Etihad, extending warm congratulations to the UAE leadership and people on their national occasion.
Speaking to dignitaries, diplomats and distinguished guests, the Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

He lauded the UAE’s extraordinary transformation over the decades, noting that the nation had believed in possibilities “long before they became realities.”
“Witnessing the UAE’s remarkable journey as it continues to attain new heights of progress fills all of us with profound admiration,” he said. “This success is a tribute not only to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed but also to his great late father, Sheikh Zayed, the true architect of the deep brotherhood, fraternity and friendship between Pakistan and the UAE.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz reflected on his earliest memories of the Emirates, recalling it as a land of ambition, innovation and boundless potential. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its historic and strategic ties with the UAE across all spheres.
The event celebrated the UAE’s enduring progress, unity and global stature, with Pakistan renewing its warm and time-tested friendship with the Gulf nation.
