RAWALPINDI, Sunday, December 7, 2025 (WNP/ISPR): Pakistan Navy Ship YAMAMA, deployed on the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) in the Arabian Sea, has successfully carried out a major anti-narcotics operation, seizing 1,500 kilograms of hashish worth an estimated US$3 million.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation marks a significant blow to transnational criminal networks operating in the region.

The timely interdiction reflects the Pakistan Navy’s steadfast commitment to curbing illicit trafficking and maintaining the integrity of the maritime domain.

The Pakistan Navy regularly conducts RMSP missions to safeguard national maritime interests through enhanced vigilance, surveillance, and sustained presence in critical sea lanes. It also continues to play an active role in coordinated maritime security initiatives with regional and international partners, contributing to a safer and more secure maritime environment.

The latest seizure further reinforces Pakistan Navy’s operational readiness and its determination to counter threats that undermine peace and stability in regional waters.
