LAHORE, Monday, November 10, 2025 (WNP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in collaboration with Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and its implementing partner Hayat Foundation, has successfully distributed 180 tons of dates among flood-affected families across eight districts of Punjab.

The initiative aimed to assist vulnerable families impacted by recent floods by providing nutritious and energy-rich food support to enhance food security and resilience in disaster-stricken areas.

Distributions were carried out in Multan, Muzaffargarh, Jhang, Kot Addu, Hafizabad, Rajanpur, Khanewal, and Faisalabad, reaching thousands of families who had suffered displacement and livelihood losses due to floods.

KSrelief highlighted that the project underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued solidarity with the people of Pakistan, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian assistance and sustainable recovery.

“Through KSrelief, the Kingdom remains dedicated to supporting Pakistan in times of crisis, strengthening food security, and promoting dignity and well-being among affected communities,” KSrelief  added.

The initiative forms part of KSrelief’s broader humanitarian efforts across Pakistan, which include projects in healthcare, food distribution, education, and disaster response to help communities rebuild their lives with hope and stability.
