LAHORE, Sunday, August 2, 2026 (WNP): A visiting United States business delegation toured the Sundar Industrial Estate in Lahore, gaining firsthand insight into Pakistan’s industrial and manufacturing ecosystem as part of efforts to explore investment opportunities and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation visited the manufacturing facilities of Tetra Pak Pakistan and Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan, where members were briefed on industrial operations, production capabilities and the business environment for manufacturing ventures in Punjab.
The site visit provided the delegation with practical exposure to the province’s industrial infrastructure, enabling them to assess the operational environment, investment potential and available facilities for manufacturing and other industrial enterprises.

Discussions during the visit focused on prospects for establishing new manufacturing ventures, promoting technology transfer and technical cooperation, and encouraging joint ventures between Pakistani and United States companies.
Facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the visit underscored Pakistan’s commitment to showcasing its industrial capabilities and creating an enabling environment for international investors seeking long-term partnerships in the country’s manufacturing sector.
The engagement formed part of the U.S. Business Delegation’s broader visit to Pakistan aimed at expanding bilateral trade, investment and private-sector collaboration.
