Ambassador Albert P. Khorev congratulates students and teachers, welcomes children of diplomats from brotherly CIS countries

ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, September 1, 2026 (WNP): The Embassy of Russia in Pakistan hosted a special concert in Islamabad to mark the beginning of the new academic year and celebrate Knowledge Day.

Addressing guests at the event, Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev congratulated teachers and students on the start of the new academic year and extended his best wishes for their continued success.

The Ambassador also welcomed diplomats from brotherly Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries whose children will be joining the Russian Embassy School in Pakistan this academic year.

The celebration highlighted the importance of education, knowledge and academic achievement while bringing together students, teachers, diplomats and members of the diplomatic community.

The Embassy of Russia in Pakistan extended its congratulations to all schoolchildren, students and teachers on Knowledge Day, wishing them a successful academic year filled with new discoveries, learning opportunities and achievements.

The event also reflected the close educational and people-to-people links maintained by the Russian diplomatic mission with the diplomatic community in Pakistan.
