U.S. Business Delegation concludes Pakistan visit with focus on expanding trade, investment cooperation

LAHORE, Sunday, August 2, 2026 (WNP): A visiting United States business delegation concluded its Pakistan tour with a visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), where discussions centered on strengthening bilateral trade, expanding private-sector collaboration and exploring new investment opportunities.

The delegation was welcomed by the President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who highlighted Lahore’s dynamic business environment, strong industrial base and diverse investment potential across multiple sectors.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing Pakistan–U.S. trade relations, promoting business-to-business engagement and identifying new avenues for commercial partnerships that would contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Members of the delegation appreciated Punjab’s investor-friendly environment and expressed keen interest in exploring collaborative ventures in a range of sectors, reaffirming their commitment to deepening economic and investment cooperation with Pakistan.

Facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the visit reflected the council’s continued efforts to connect international investors with business opportunities in Pakistan through streamlined facilitation and institutional support.

The Lahore engagements marked the conclusion of the U.S. Business Delegation’s visit to Pakistan, underscoring the shared commitment of both countries to fostering stronger economic ties, encouraging private-sector partnerships and expanding long-term investment cooperation.
