ISTANBUL, Saturday, May 9, 2026 (WNP): Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacır on Saturday said Türkiye continues to share its strong vision and technological advancements in defence, aviation, and space industries with friendly and brotherly nations.

Speaking during the visit of Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his delegation to the SAHA EXPO 2026, Kacır said Türkiye was pleased to host the Emirati delegation as guests of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“We continue to share with our friendly and brotherly countries Türkiye’s strong vision in the defense, aviation, and space industries, its high-technology capabilities, and the major strides it has made in recent years,” Kacır said.

He described SAHA EXPO as more than a platform for displaying technological achievements, saying the exhibition has evolved into a major global forum for strategic cooperation and future-oriented partnerships.

“SAHA EXPO is not merely a platform where our technological capabilities are showcased; it is also a global meeting point where strategic collaborations are strengthened and shared visions for the future take shape,” he added.

The exhibition brought together international delegations, defence manufacturers, aerospace companies, and technology experts to explore cooperation opportunities in advanced defence and high-tech sectors.

Türkiye has significantly expanded its indigenous defence production capabilities in recent years, emerging as a major player in global defence exports and technological innovation.
