Pakistan, Kuwait FMs discuss regional situation, reaffirm strong fraternal ties

ISLAMABAD, Saturday, May 2, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which the two sides discussed the evolving regional situation and its broader economic implications.

During the call, Ishaq Dar underscored Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote constructive engagement and diplomacy in support of peace and stability at both regional and global levels.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s sincere efforts aimed at fostering lasting peace and security for the Muslim Ummah as well as the wider international community.

Both leaders reaffirmed the strong and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, agreeing to maintain close coordination and remain in contact on matters of mutual interest.
