Russian Embassy expresses solidarity with victims’ families, calls for concerted international efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms

ISLAMABAD, Friday, September 18, 2026 (WNP): The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Kohat Police Lines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which claimed numerous lives.

In a statement, the Russian Embassy described the incident as a “terrible tragedy,” saying it once again underscored the need for concerted efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The Embassy expressed hope that those responsible for the “heinous act” would be identified and brought to justice.

“Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims,” the statement said, conveying condolences to those affected by the attack.

The Russian Embassy also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the terrorist incident.

The statement reaffirmed Russia’s solidarity with Pakistan in the face of terrorism and violence and its call for collective efforts to counter the threat in all its forms.
