Pakistan, Türkiye reaffirm close diplomatic coordination in call between foreign ministers

ISLAMABAD, Saturday, January 24, 2026 (WNP): Pakistan and Türkiye on Saturday reaffirmed their commitment to close diplomatic coordination as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to review recent global and regional developments.

According to diplomatic sources, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the evolving international landscape in the aftermath of discussions held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

They assessed emerging economic, political, and security trends, underscoring the importance of sustained dialogue at a time of heightened global uncertainty.
