Pakistan, Türkiye reaffirm close coordination on regional, global issues

ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which the two leaders reviewed regional and international developments and reaffirmed their commitment to close diplomatic coordination.

According to official sources, the foreign ministers exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest, reflecting the depth and breadth of the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.

The discussion also underscored shared perspectives on key regional and global challenges and the importance of sustained engagement to promote peace, stability, and cooperation.

Both sides agreed to remain in close contact and to continue consultations at various levels, reaffirming their resolve to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in areas of common concern.
