ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (WNP): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday visited the Embassy of Iran to sign the condolence book opened following the demise of the country’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

During the visit, Dar expressed profound sorrow over the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei and conveyed Pakistan’s heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the leadership, and the people of Iran.

Writing in the condolence book, the deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Iranian nation during a moment of immense national grief, emphasizing the longstanding brotherly ties between the two neighboring countries.
