ISLAMABAD, Saturday, April 25, 2026 (WNP): Pakistan and Iran held important consultations as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir during his visit to Islamabad.
According to official sources, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest and the overall regional situation, reflecting ongoing high-level engagement between the two neighboring countries.

The interaction is part of a series of diplomatic engagements undertaken by the Iranian delegation with Pakistan’s civil and military leadership amid evolving regional dynamics and efforts to promote dialogue.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, who arrived in Islamabad on a key regional tour, is also holding meetings with other senior Pakistani officials to discuss bilateral relations and developments in the broader Middle East region.
