ISLAMABAD, Saturday, January 17, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, focusing on the prevailing situation in Iran and broader regional developments.

During the discussion, Senator Dar expressed Pakistan’s hope for peace, stability, and restraint in the region, underscoring the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing emerging challenges.

The two foreign ministers exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination.
