RIYADH, Monday, July 6, 2026 (WNP): Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, on Monday received Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, at the Muslim World League headquarters in Riyadh, where the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa and Ambassador Ahmad Farooq exchanged views on a range of issues of common concern, with particular emphasis on promoting closer engagement between the Muslim World League and Pakistan in areas of shared interest.

The discussions underscored the longstanding and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as their shared commitment to advancing moderation, dialogue, humanitarian cooperation and the promotion of the true values of Islam.
Both sides also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in fostering interfaith and intercultural dialogue, promoting peace, tolerance and mutual understanding, and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening unity across the Muslim world.
The meeting reflected the enduring partnership between Pakistan and the Muslim World League and reaffirmed their shared resolve to enhance cooperation in support of peace, religious harmony and the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah.
