Saudi humanitarian assistance benefits 343 people from 49 flood-affected families in Jalalabad, Nangarhar Province

JALALABAD, Monday, August 10, 2026 (WNP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 49 food baskets among people affected by floods in Jalalabad, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, benefiting 343 individuals from 49 families.

The assistance was provided under the Food Security Emergency Project for Flood-Affected People in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Afghanistan, aimed at supporting communities affected by natural disasters and strengthening food security.

The initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, implemented through KSrelief to support the Afghan people, alleviate their suffering and provide essential assistance to vulnerable communities affected by emergencies.

The latest distribution reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance and relief operations in disaster-affected areas.
