“Seyyed Mohammad Atabak begins two-day Islamabad visit to advance trade, industry and investment cooperation with Pakistan”

ISLAMABAD, Monday, August 3, 2026 (WNP): Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to participate in the 10th Meeting of the Iran-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee and hold discussions aimed at further strengthening bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.

During his visit, Minister Atabak is scheduled to meet senior Pakistani government officials to review the current state of bilateral trade relations and explore new avenues for expanding cooperation in trade, industry, mining and investment.

The 10th session of the Iran-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee is expected to focus on enhancing economic collaboration, facilitating cross-border trade, promoting private-sector engagement and identifying practical measures to increase bilateral trade volume.

The visit reflects the shared commitment of Pakistan and Iran to deepening their longstanding economic partnership and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation across key commercial and industrial sectors.
