Dar, Saudi FM discuss regional situation, review Pakistan’s peace efforts

ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during which both sides exchanged views on the evolving situation in the Middle East and the wider region.

During the call, the two leaders discussed recent developments and underscored the importance of continued diplomatic engagement to address ongoing challenges.

Ishaq Dar apprised his Saudi counterpart of the latest developments regarding Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and facilitate diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
