ISLAMABAD, Monday, April 13, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan on the evolving regional situation and the outcome of the Islamabad Talks.
During the call, Dar shared key developments regarding the dialogue between Iran and the United States, underscoring the importance of all parties strictly adhering to their ceasefire commitments to ensure continued progress toward peace.
Foreign Minister Fidan commended Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating the talks, acknowledging Islamabad’s efforts in promoting dialogue and de-escalation.
Both leaders reaffirmed their support for sustained diplomatic engagement, emphasizing that dialogue remains essential for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
During the conversation, Fidan also extended an invitation to the Pakistani foreign minister to attend the upcoming Antalya Diplomacy Forum, scheduled to be held later this month in Türkiye.
