ISLAMABAD, Friday, January 16, 2026 (WNP): A new friendship anthem, “Dosti Ka Jashan – Celebration of Friendship,” created by the UNI International creative team in Pakistan, was officially premiered to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, highlighting the enduring people-to-people bond between the two countries.
The song was unveiled at a commemorative event and Spring Festival Gala hosted by the Chinese Business Council of Lahore on January 11, 2026. The occasion celebrated 75 years of diplomatic ties between the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan—relations often described as time-tested and resilient.
Chinese Consul General in Lahore, His Excellency Zhao Shiren, lauded the UNI International team for their creative contribution, expressing appreciation for the initiative and support for cultural projects that strengthen bilateral friendship.
Composed, written, and performed by the UNI International team, “Dosti Ka Jashan – Celebration of Friendship” blends Urdu and Chinese, symbolizing unity, mutual respect, and shared aspirations. Organizers said the song reflects the spirit of solidarity that has defined China–Pakistan relations over the past seven and a half decades.
More than 200 guests attended the premiere, including the Speaker of the Punjab Provincial Assembly, Members of the Provincial Assembly, the Chinese Consul General and Deputy Consul General in Lahore, senior representatives from government, business, vocational education, and academia in Punjab, members of the Chinese Business Council of Pakistan, leaders of central state-owned enterprises, overseas Chinese community members, and media representatives.
As the song concluded, the audience joined in chanting “Long live China–Pakistan friendship” in both Urdu and Chinese, underscoring the emotional resonance of the moment.
UNI International officials said promoting cultural exchange, sharing China’s stories, and supporting major-country diplomacy through vocational education remain central to the organization’s mission in both China and Pakistan. Through creative and educational initiatives, they added, UNI International aims to build lasting bridges of friendship and contribute meaningfully to a shared and prosperous future for both nations.
