ISLAMABAD, Monday, December 8, 2025 (WNP): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly received Indonesian President H.E. Prabowo Subianto upon his arrival at Noor Khan Air Base on Monday, marking the start of his first official visit to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed President Subianto with high regard, describing the visit as an important step toward deepening bilateral cooperation.

“Pakistan and Indonesia are bound together by a shared history, deep cultural affinity, and a friendship rooted in mutual respect and solidarity,” he said.

The Prime Minister added that he looked forward to meaningful engagements scheduled for Monday, aimed at further strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two Muslim-majority nations.

President Subianto’s visit is expected to reinforce collaboration in trade, defence, investment, and cultural exchange, while reaffirming both countries’ commitment to advancing regional peace and prosperity.
