ISLAMABAD, Thursday, May 15, 2025 (WNP): Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf on Thursday visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi to inquire about the condition of soldiers and civilians injured during Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, reaffirming the nation’s unwavering resolve in the face of enemy aggression.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy), the Naval Chief personally met with each injured individual, lauding their exceptional courage, unwavering spirit, and steadfast dedication to duty.

Admiral Ashraf emphasized that the unity and resilience displayed by the nation and its armed forces serve as a powerful message to any adversary contemplating future misadventures. “Any future provocation will be met with the same strength, resolve, and professionalism,” he stated.

A day earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari also visited CMH Rawalpindi to express solidarity with the injured personnel and civilians. Accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Commander 10 Corps, and hospital administrators, the President individually met with each wounded soldier and civilian, praising their bravery and sacrifice.

“The entire nation is proud of the valor shown by our troops and citizens alike. Your courage is a symbol of Pakistan’s enduring spirit,” President Zardari told the injured.

He condemned the recent Indian aggression, calling it a serious threat to regional peace. “The Hindutva-driven ideology of the Modi government is endangering South Asia’s stability, and their attempt to use aggression for domestic political gains will not succeed,” the President warned.

Reiterating Pakistan’s firm stance, Zardari stated, “We will never compromise our sovereignty or national solidarity. The Pakistani nation is united, resolute, and prepared to defend every inch of its homeland.”

He also extended his gratitude to the medical staff at CMH for their dedicated care of the injured, commending the doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel for their tireless service in this critical time.
