RIYADH, Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (WNP): The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and in collaboration with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), has opened registration for the Fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence 2026, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from September 14 to 17, 2026.

The four-day global forum will bring together policymakers, leading experts, academics, representatives of international organizations, and stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss the ethical governance and responsible development of artificial intelligence.

Recognized as one of the world’s foremost international platforms dedicated to AI ethics, the forum aims to advance global dialogue on the responsible governance of artificial intelligence, promote the exchange of expertise and best practices, and explore innovative approaches to harnessing AI technologies in support of sustainable development and inclusive, prosperous societies.

The programme will feature high-level plenary sessions, panel discussions and specialized workshops focusing on key issues, including AI ethics, governance frameworks, capacity building, responsible innovation and international policymaking. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine the latest global initiatives, experiences and policy developments shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
