ISTANBUL, Saturday, June 20, 2026 (WNP): Türkiye will host the Halal Expo 2026 International Trade Exhibition from November 25 to 28 at the Istanbul Expo Center, bringing together leading businesses, investors, policymakers and industry experts from across the world to promote trade, investment and innovation in the rapidly expanding global halal economy.

Held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, the exhibition will be organized alongside the World Halal Summit (WHS) under the theme “Sustainable Halal Economy: Eliminating Waste, Empowering Growth.”

The event is being organized in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), positioning it as one of the world’s premier platforms for halal-certified products, services and international business partnerships.

According to the organizers, Halal Expo serves as a strategic international trade platform covering the entire halal ecosystem, including food and beverages, Islamic finance, tourism, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, logistics and other emerging sectors.

The exhibition will help facilitate international trade, promote exports, attract investment and strengthen global supply chains by connecting manufacturers, exporters, investors, public-sector representatives and business leaders from around the world.

Leveraging Türkiye’s strategic location at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the event is expected to provide participants with unparalleled opportunities to access global markets, establish new commercial partnerships and explore emerging trends in the halal industry.

The organizers said the exhibition also supports sustainable global trade networks while encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship and cross-border collaboration within the halal economy.

The previous edition of Halal Expo attracted significant international participation, hosting 31,842 visitors from 113 countries, 497 exhibitors representing 38 countries, more than 500 hosted buyers, and over 2,500 business-to-business (B2B) meetings across a 15,000-square-metre exhibition area.

The 2026 edition is expected to further expand its international reach, offering governments, multinational companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, investors and entrepreneurs a comprehensive platform to showcase products, exchange expertise and strengthen economic cooperation across the Islamic world and beyond.

The officials said Halal Expo 2026 reflects Türkiye’s continued commitment to promoting sustainable economic growth, innovation and international collaboration while reinforcing Istanbul’s position as a leading global hub for halal trade, investment and industry development.
