Saudi ambassador sees off Hajj guests, reaffirms Kingdom’s commitment to pilgrims’ comfort

ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, May 19, 2026 (WNP): Ambassador of the Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki bid farewell to the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Hajj Program at the embassy, reaffirming the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to ensuring maximum facilities and comfort for pilgrims performing Hajj.

The pilgrims are travelling under the prestigious Hajj Guests Program implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance as part of the Kingdom’s continued efforts to serve Islam and Muslims across the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Al-Malki conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the Saudi leadership to the pilgrims and emphasized that the prudent leadership of the Kingdom attaches the highest importance to facilitating the journey of Hujjaj and enabling them to perform their religious obligations with ease, tranquility, and peace of mind.

He said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, has mobilized all available resources, capabilities, and modern facilities to ensure comprehensive services for pilgrims arriving from around the world.

The ambassador highlighted that serving the Two Holy Mosques and the guests of Allah remains a foremost priority for the Saudi leadership, reflecting the Kingdom’s longstanding commitment to the welfare, safety, and spiritual comfort of pilgrims.

The Hajj Guests Program is regarded as one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent humanitarian and Islamic initiatives. Every year, distinguished personalities, scholars, and individuals from across the Muslim world are invited to perform Hajj as special guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The program covers travel, accommodation, transportation, and hospitality arrangements, enabling pilgrims to focus entirely on their spiritual journey.

Over the years, the initiative has strengthened bonds between Saudi Arabia and Muslim communities worldwide while promoting the values of Islamic solidarity, brotherhood, moderation, and mutual cooperation.

Saudi authorities have also undertaken extensive preparations for Hajj 2026, introducing advanced digital services, enhanced transportation systems, expanded health facilities, crowd-management mechanisms, and multilingual support services for ensuring a smooth and secure pilgrimage experience for millions of pilgrims.

The Kingdom continues to receive international appreciation for its exceptional arrangements and tireless efforts in managing Hajj operations, particularly through the integration of modern technology, infrastructure expansion projects, and coordinated services across all sectors involved in pilgrimage management.
