ISLAMABAD, Saturday, March 28, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani to discuss prevailing regional and international developments.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of urgent de-escalation and the role of dialogue and diplomacy in promoting lasting peace.

The Qatari side expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s continued efforts to facilitate stability in the region.

During the conversation, they reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar, agreeing to maintain close coordination on evolving developments and shared regional concerns.
