TEHRAN, Sunday, March 15, 2026 (WNP): The Islamic Republic of Iran Army has released new video footage showing underground military bunkers and ammunition depots, amid escalating tensions with Israel.
The footage, circulated by Iranian state-affiliated media on Sunday, appeared to show extensive tunnel systems, fortified storage facilities and concealed missile and weapons depots built deep underground. Iranian officials said the installations were designed to protect strategic military assets and ensure operational readiness during wartime.
In a message accompanying the video, the Iranian military issued a strong warning to its adversaries, stating: “We decide when the war will end.”
The release of the video comes as the confrontation between Iran and Israel continues to intensify, with both sides exchanging missile strikes and military threats in recent days. Analysts say the publication of such footage is intended to demonstrate Iran’s defensive capabilities and signal its ability to sustain operations even under heavy attack.
Military observers note that Iran has spent years developing underground facilities—often referred to as “missile cities”—to safeguard ballistic missiles, ammunition depots and command infrastructure from potential airstrikes.
The latest video is widely viewed as part of a broader messaging campaign by Tehran aimed at projecting military strength as regional tensions remain high and fears of a wider Middle East conflict grow.
