WASHINGTON, Saturday, March 8, 2026 (WNP): U.S. President Donald Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President J. D. Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, attended a solemn dignified transfer ceremony honoring six American service members who lost their lives while serving the nation.
The ceremony, a military tradition in which the remains of fallen service members are returned to the United States with full honors, brought together senior officials, military personnel, and grieving families to pay tribute to the sacrifice of the fallen heroes.
The six service members honored during the ceremony were:

- Captain Cody A. Khork
- Sergeant First Class Nicole M. Amor
- Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan
- Sergeant First Class Noah L. Tietjens
- Sergeant Declan J. Coady
During the ceremony, the president and vice president stood alongside the families of the fallen, observing the transfer with military honors as flag-draped cases were carried by a joint service honor guard.
