ISLAMABAD, Thursday, June 4, 2026 (WNP): Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu held a monthly meeting with members of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Türkiye–Pakistan Business Council to review ongoing initiatives and explore new opportunities for strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on a range of issues related to bilateral trade, investment and business collaboration, reaffirming their commitment to further deepening economic ties between Türkiye and Pakistan.
The discussions focused on evaluating progress on existing projects and identifying new avenues for cooperation aimed at increasing trade volumes and promoting greater engagement between the private sectors of both countries.
Ambassador Neziroğlu emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue between business leaders and relevant stakeholders in advancing the economic partnership between Türkiye and Pakistan, which continues to expand across multiple sectors.
Members of the DEİK Türkiye–Pakistan Business Council also shared their perspectives on ongoing initiatives and discussed practical measures to facilitate business-to-business contacts and enhance investment opportunities.
The meeting reflected the shared determination of both sides to build on the longstanding brotherly relations between Türkiye and Pakistan through stronger economic collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Türkiye and Pakistan maintain close political, economic and cultural ties, with both countries seeking to further expand trade, investment and industrial cooperation in line with their broader strategic partnership.
