ISLAMABAD, Friday, October 24, 2025 (WNP): The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has partnered with Teach For Pakistan to strengthen teacher training and improve education quality through an initiative for modernizing the organization’s central training facility in Islamabad.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two sides, TİKA will support the upgradation of the training center with advanced digital learning tools and a solar energy system, ensuring uninterrupted operations and sustainable capacity-building for educators.

The enhanced facility will train more than 115 teacher-leaders and 18 coaches annually, positively impacting over 7,000 students in public schools each year — and reaching more than 35,000 learners across Pakistan over the next five years.

The collaboration expresses a shared commitment by TİKA and Teach For Pakistan to empower educators and expand access to quality education, particularly for underprivileged communities. By strengthening the teaching force, the initiative seeks to lay a foundation for a more inclusive and resilient education system.

Officials from both organizations underscored that investing in teachers is key to shaping Pakistan’s future, as classrooms remain at the heart of long-term social transformation.
